MoMA PS1 is one of Long Island City’s biggest cultural draws, and even the surrounding buildings are inspired by the museum’s aesthetics. That’s why the developer of The Jackson, a new collection of LIC luxury apartments that is PS1’s neighbor, commissioned local artist Tom Fruin to create an installation for their lobby. The result is a stunning mosaic that reaches the lobby’s high ceiling and gives the space the feel of an art gallery. LIC real estate group Modern Spaces is expertly managing sales and marketing for the 56 luxury condos at The Jackson. The Jackson is now fully sold.
