A born entrepreneur, Scott has put his marketing degree from Emporia State University to good use, opening several successful businesses in Lawrence, Kansas, where he was born and raised.
In 2011, he opened a 14,000 square foot fitness center which he sold earlier this year. Not easily satisfied, he then co-founded and opened a successful craft cocktail speakeasy bar in 2014 called “John Brown’s Underground,” where he remains an owner. During this time he piloted a Pop Up turned permanent Retail spot with artisanal donuts above the bar.
When his personal life brought him to New York City, Scott immediately honed in on Astoria, Queens, where his search for a home led to a chance meeting with the Sales Manager at Modern Spaces. Scott found more than an apartment through. It didn’t take long for both of them to see him fitting in perfectly on their team. Since then, Scott has fallen in love with the neighborhood, and more importantly, completed three closings in his first 30 days at the company.
Scott has found real estate to be the perfect fit for a creative and entrepreneur like himself. His comfort negotiating leases and proven business acumen inspire confidence in his clients, while his hustle and creativity leave limitless possibilities to gain traction in the booming New York City market.
See the real estate market through Scott’s eyes and you will no doubt gain a new vision on what is possible for you.
