Richard Parrott brings a fresh perspective and genuine enthusiasm to the real estate business. As a former executive of a Manhattan retail chain, Richard has deep experience identifying and successfully negotiating complex contracts for real estate deals from the client’s side throughout the five boroughs and Long Island. Richard was a Long Island City resident and homeowner for 15 years, and has recently ventured into the up and coming neighborhood of Woodside, Queens. He has watched the explosive growth in Western Queens for over a decade, and will now specialize in, and focus on the Queens real estate market. His years of first- hand knowledge as both a resident and professional, position him as an expert in the boro. Friendly, personable, calm and cool-headed, Richard’s easy disposition inspires confidence in his clients and makes him an excellent agent representative.
Prior to his career in the retail world, Richard spent twelve years as a golf professional working at private country clubs on Long Island, Northern Virginia, and Florida. As a member of the PGA of America, he was required to follow a strict code of ethics and that is exactly what he does with real estate at Modern Spaces. Richard values client relationships – built on listening and trust and educating the client is Richard’s priority on the path to building a solid partnership.
Richard holds a degree in Art History from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, an experience that fostered his appreciation of the rich architectural heritage of New York and the unique character of each neighborhood throughout the city.
When he’s not working, Richard loves to cook (and eat!), and relishes the culinary diversity of Queens. From Michelin-rated restaurants to food trucks, Richard has an appetite for gastronomic adventure.
